Warring States Jade plaque, H.11cm, W.6cm, T.0.5cm,51.5grams. Carved from pale tone jade, this plaque has the music note symbol design of mother dragon with a circulating shape embedding a baby dragon in the body shown in the middle surface.
Below the head of the dragon, there is a simplified design of phoenix sitting on the edge of the dragon. On the dragon body, the square cloud motif of low relief carving style is presented. Workmanship is of mastery and elegant. Calcification and the additive crystals are the evidence of antiquity.
