Shijiahe culture,Jade Tube, D. 3cm, H. 6.5cm ,110grams

The Shijiahe culture (Chinese: 石家河文化) (2500-2000 BC) was a late Neolithic culture centered around the middle Yangtze River region in Hubei, China. Carved with green jade, this jade tube has human face on both side. The carving style and jade quality is similar to the jade artifact unearthed Hubei Tianmen County XiaojiayingziWugi. Antiquity evidences include cleaving vein and calcification.
