Made of mutton white Hetian jade as a whole piece of work, this vase is seen has three sections. The upper and lower sections are in the shape of a trapezoid, with the middle section around corner cube. The four corners of the container are seen typical Warring States wave curve notched edge with open work. The upper and lower sections are seen low relief motifs of spirit’s face and phoenix and the middle section with spirit’s face and dragon. The motifs are extraordinarily fine carved. The archaic evidences of differential weathering and cleaving veins are found on several spots of the object.
