南宋陸游有詩言: 滿帽秋風入剡，半帆寒日遊吳。問子行裝何在，帶間笑指葫蘆。葫蘆稱瓠瓜， 從古代風水學上，葫蘆是一種吉祥物。 本器白玉雕琢， 全器整體為葫蘆形， 頂端有蓋， 四周飾整棵葫蘆植物， 有枝條， 枝葉， 及小葫蘆高浮雕， 本器設計巧妙， 線條流暢， 古玉跡象有擴散暈沁色及冰裂紋.

Carved with white jade, the object is a calabash. The whole calabash is decorated with high relief calabash plant consisting vein, leaves and calabash. It is designed with two parts, the cover and the main body. With mastery workmanship, it has antiquity evidences of diffusive marking and cleaving veins.
