Carved with yellow tone jade, the object is a bi-kwuei combination structure. The front side decorated with the eight symbols of I-Ching(Classics of Changes). The back side of the kwuei decorated with horoscope(The Big Dipper). At the bottom, there is a relief mountain carving to show that these symbols are following the system of connected mountain symbol( 連山卦)

據《周禮》記載，連山易出於神農氏——神農氏又稱「烈山氏」，或稱連山氏，故號稱連山易。成書於夏朝，又稱之為「夏易」原書約有八萬餘言、十卷本。

《周禮》將「連山」和「歸藏」、《周易》並列為占卜的三種方法，統稱三易，共通性都是由8個经卦兩兩重叠的64個别卦组成。學者認為「連山」稱“連山易”是因為跟周易並稱三易
