紅山文化玉器形制經常有不同物種結合所形成之獨特形制, 本器係魷魚與鷹之複合體, 頭尾為魷魚之形象, 身體呈鷹之形象, 雙翼寫實末端向內彎, 本器青玉雕琢, 頸部有紅山特色之象鼻孔, 古玉跡象為擴散暈沁色及鈣化. Hongshan Culture jade artifacts usually have seen complex form formed from different creatures. Carved with pale tone jade, the object is a complex form of with head and fin of squid and wings of eagle,  antiquity evidences are diffusive markings and calcification.
