Still_2018-01-06_135413_60X_N0095璜在古代也是一種瑞玉,其形式為一種弧形的玉器。《說文》釋作「半壁曰璜」。《太平禦覽》卷十四玉部《搜神記》中指出,璜是由彩虹變化而來的,因為古人不知虹為何物,便認為是神,由神而生敬畏,由敬畏而生崇拜。Carved with yellow green jade, this Huang is designed to have two dragon head on each end. There is a hole at the center to serve the function for hanging. both sides are carved with auspicious cloud motif via slant carving style. Antiquity evidences include cleaving vein and diffusive markings. In addition, scatter minerals are spread some areas on both sides.
