本器和田黃玉雕琢, 形制為鏤空出廓玉璧. 出廓部分飾一臥龍, 身體呈拱門形, 飾公元前一五八年賞字樣，公元前一五八年漢文帝之子漢景帝繼位. 玉璧分兩區, 為區飾龍紋淺浮雕, 內區雙面陰刻輪台詔部分銘文, 雙面銘文相同, “提掖搜索，問以所聞。今邊塞未正，闌出不禁，障候長吏使卒獵獸，以皮肉為利，卒苦而烽火乏，失亦上集不得，後降者來，若捕生口虜，乃知之。當今務，在禁苛暴，止擅賦，力本農，修馬複令”.落款劉徹, 正面在左, 反面在右.  本器雕工精湛, 各紋飾的呈現 細膩生動, 文字雕琢更是優美, 加以差異風化, 擴散暈沁色, 溶蝕孔, 石灰沁等古玉跡象明顯, 是漢代銘文玉璧精品. The object is carved from yellow-tone Hetian jade, in the shape of jade bi with extension. The extension is decorated with a crouching dragon whose body is decorated with the words “reward in 158 BC”, the year Emperor Wen Emperor succeeded.  The jade bi is divided into two areas, the outer area is decorated with dragons, and the inner area has inscriptions on both sides adopted from the texts of the Luntai Decree.  Signed Liu Che, the front is on the left, and the reverse is on the right. With differential weathering, diffusive markings, dissolved pits, and other ancient jade signs, it is a fine jade bi with inscriptions in the Han Dynasty.
