漢代九龍玉璧, 直径36厘米,厚0.7厘米

本器青玉雕琢, 形制為雙面雕琢玉璧. 一面雕琢九隻穿雲龍, 易經有” 飛龍在天, 乾元用九”, 九隻穿雲龍表示祥瑞之兆.  另一面上下左右四方飾天庭吉祥符號, 左右各飾相背龍紋. 本器雕工精湛, 紋飾細膩生動., 本器差異風化, 擴散暈沁色, 溶蝕孔, 石灰沁等古玉跡象明顯, 是漢代玉璧精品. (來源:  家族百年收藏)

This object is with jade in the shape of a double-sided carved jade bi. One side is carved with nine cloud-piercing dragons. The Book of Changes says “flying dragons are in the sky, and Qianyuan uses nine”. The nine cloud-piercing dragons represent auspicious signs. Auspicious symbols, the left, and right are decorated with dragon patterns on the back. The carving is delicate and vivid. With antiquity signs of differential weathering, calcification and dissolved pits, It is an excellent Han bi to be kept.
