戰國龍鳳神面紋白玉瓶, H. 13cm, W.9.8cm, 510grams。
唐 李白《廣陵贈別》詩：「玉瓶沽美酒，數里送君還。」玉瓶除了作為盛酒的酒杯外，也作為觀賞用的擺件。在古玉文化中，玉瓶稱為玉尊或玉樽。瓶與平同音， 有持玉瓶便能獲得平安的寓意。本器材質屬於純白玻璃種和田玉質，形制為玉瓶。本玉瓶侈口, 圈足. 瓶口光滑勻稱，造型如同水面由中心向四周瀑布般下瀉的景象， 玉瓶瓶口寬度與瓶身高度相等，瓶身中央四等份處各飾有一游環， 徵諸古玉文化， 玉環向來被視為珍貴之物，引伸為財富之意。 整體涵意而言， 意味著持有此玉瓶者， 定能保證四季平安富足。從紋飾來看，玉瓶瓶口上部三分之一處，飾有四組具有商代風格鷹嘴之淺浮雕鳳紋及戰國刀卯風格龍紋，瓶身其他三分之二處紋飾為四組戰國風格之淺浮雕神面紋。本器之造型優雅華麗, 線條佈局對稱精確。古玉跡象則有差異風化， 增生晶體，斑晶等. 盤點歷代玉瓶，戰漢時期以前玉瓶並不多見，白玉瓶精品尤為罕見， 台灣故宮博物院所收藏青玉瓶為宋代及清代之物。 本器應是行家爭相收藏的對象。
From the poem of《Farewell at Guangling》Li Bai in the Tang Dynasty：「 Seeing you off for several miles already, let’s drink the nice wine in the jade vase. 」Jade vase which is also called yuzun is popular in ancient Chinese jade culture. From practical functionality, jade vases are used as wine cups and ornaments for display. In Chinese, the pronunciation of vase is similar to that of safety. Elaborately, it implies that who owns the vase will gain safety and peace.
Carved with fine quality white hetian jade, the object is a vase with Warring States low relief motifs. The width of the vase mouse is equal to the height of the vase. A ring is carved on each quarter area. The Jade ring is a symbol of wealth in the Chinese jade culture. The vase has a wide-opening mouth with a smooth surface and glossy with an image like water pouring down over the edge from all directions. The base is a round-edged shape. As a whole, the design of the vase with four rings has the implication that who holds this jade vase will enjoy safety and wealth all the year-round.
On the surface of the one-third area is seen the Shang Dynasty style deity face surround by the Warring States sharp angle twisted style line low relief dragon and phoenix motifs. The archaic evidence is seen to include deteriorated marking, additive crystals. From the records of Chinese jades, jade vases prior to the Han Dynasty are few, white jade vases are rare in particular. Jade vases collected in the National Palace Museum are pale tone jade from the Song and Qing Dynasty. This is one of the extremely fine workmanship, rare and marvelous items for professional collectors.
戰國方口出脊白玉樽, H. 21cm, W. 5.8-10 cm。
在古代玉文化中，玉樽為玉制盛酒之器，亦泛指精美貴重的酒杯。三國 魏 曹植 《仙人篇》：“ 玉樽盈桂酒，河伯獻神魚。”
本器以上等白玉雕琢, 形制為玉樽。玉樽整體造型區分為三節 ; 上寬下窄，第一節及第三節呈立體梯形，中間節呈立體方形。玉樽開口處呈方形，底座方形圈足 ; 玉樽四角有波浪形鏤空出脊棱。玉樽整體紋飾施戰國風格之淺浮雕神面及龍鳳紋，神面頭上兩側施羽毛紋飾，額頭飾羽葆，增添濃厚神秘感。兩眼之間有一菱形圖飾紋飾，意味神的法眼無邊。全器紋飾表面再輔以商代折鐵線勾形兵器游絲雕法，除了增添細節外，更體現了高超精湛雕琢技藝。本器古玉跡象為有石灰沁，差異風化， 冰裂紋等。本器造型及刀工俱佳， 線條華麗流暢， 是珍貴難得的戰國玉樽。

The upper and lower sections are in the shape of a trapezoid, with the middle section a square cube. The four corners of the container are seen as typical Warring States wave curve notched edge with openwork. The whole vase is decorated with low relief motifs of God’s face, dragon, and phoenix. God’s face has a feather decoration above the eyebrows. On the forehead, a drum decorated with feathers located on the center of God’s forehead. Between the two eyes, there is a diamond shape to symbolize God’s powerful eyesight to see through all beings’ minds. On the surface of all the motifs are carved with Shang Dynasty barbed wire weapon extraordinarily fine incised lines. The archaic evidence of differential weathering and cleaving veins are found on several spots of the object.

在中國古玉文化中， 玉樽係作為盛酒之器，或飲酒時作為酒杯。 本器和田黃玉雕琢， 形制為玉樽. 就造型而言，全器區分為上中下三部分， 上大下小， 從正面看，上中二區略呈倒梯形， 下區呈正梯形。 最上區長與高大於寬， 立體略呈弧形; 中間區長大於寬及高， 呈倒梯形立方體; 最下區則長大於寬及高呈上小下大弧形立方體。 上端正面飾鳳鳥淺浮雕， 減地雕法， 鳳鳥尾部羽毛誇張地拉長， 反復折疊。上端側面飾龍紋減地淺浮雕，龍身亦誇張地拉長，反復折疊。 此種誇張地拉長，反復折疊紋飾可能 是九疊篆的創作靈感。中間呈上寬下窄矩形， 矩形正面及側面表面飾神面減地淺浮雕，神面前額飾羽葆。 全器淺浮雕紋飾之上施商代風格折鐵線戈紋游絲陰線。 側面中央有三節突脊， 中間突脊呈波浪形，上下兩個突脊呈勾形。玉樽下端四面共飾游絲陰線蟬紋十隻， 四隻施於四個角， 半隻在一面， 另外半隻在另一面， 增強蟬紋之立體感。古玉跡象有增生晶體及鈣化。
The artifact is made of yellow tone Hetian jade. The object is a jade vase called Zun with three sections. In ancient Chinese jade culture, the Zun is a wine container of or wine cup.
The whole carving divides into three structures with the largest on the top and decreasing to the bottom. The structure of the top two has an inverse trapezoid shape while the bottom one has a trapezoid shape. Two reduced plane low relief phoenixes facing each other are carved on the front plane on the top structure. The feathers of the phoenix are extended elaborately with several repeated twisted carvings. A similar carving style for the dragons is on the side plane of the top structure. This kind of elaborated extended artwork may serve as an inspiration for the ninefold seal scripts in the Chinese seal carving style. The middle structure is decorated with a low relief of God’s face of which a feather decoration is carved on the forehead. The side planes of the middle structure have three notched decorations at the center, with wave convex square lines in the middle, hooks at the upper and lower positions. The bottom section which is decorated with extreme thin incised line ten cicadae on the four sides is the smallest. Four cicadae are located at the four corners with half body on one side and half-body on the next side to increase the three-dimensional artistic effect.
On all the relief lines, the Shang Dynasty style thin incised lines of hooked weapon shape are decorated. The archaic evidence of differential weathering and additive crystals are found on several spots of the object.
