本器優質和田青白玉雕琢, 形制為單層玉琮. 大地為萬物之母, 玉琮為祭地之禮器. 本玉琮之主要紋飾為兩個神面, 相對應兩個角各有一個, 神面以頂角為中心, 相鄰兩面各置一方形眼, 眉毛飾一多層直角線條, 以增強神面美感. 根據圖騰推測, 本玉琮應為神面, 龍, 鳳三組玉琮之一. 本器古玉跡象主要為擴散暈沁色及冰裂紋.人與玉的緣分是天定的,每一件玉器都有他命中注定的主人;玉是有生命的,戴久了便與你融為一體,不離不棄。於千萬年之中,無涯的時間長河中,沒有早一步,也沒有晚一步,剛巧“玉”見你,一切皆為緣來。本玉琮從西周誕生開始, 就等候著筆者, 本玉琮從西周誕生開始, 就等候著筆者, 歷經三千多個寒暑後, 終於在丁酉(2017)年臘月與筆者邂逅, 如今晝夜相隨, 形影不離.

自巍巍昆侖山至塔裏木盆地的浩瀚戈壁上,流著蜿蜒曲折的玉龍喀什河——古代著名的白玉河,以盛產和闐白玉籽料而聞名於世。天暖雪化,河水暴漲,洶湧的玉龍喀什河水將昆侖山脈風化剝蝕的玉料碎塊攜帶而下,碰撞衝刷,形成籽料,沉積在平坦寬闊的中下遊河床中。和田玉,早在公元前十七世紀的商代,就從漫漫黃沙古道駝鈴的回響中,在西域輝煌曆史的煙塵裏,來到中原商殷王朝,孕育出幾千年纏綿悱惻的故事。和田玉作為中國的“國石”,是中華民族道德精神的象征。從《詩經》”言念君子,溫其如玉“到東漢”玉,石之美者,有五德“,和田玉以其不溫不火,雍容不迫的高貴形質,徹底化身為君子,成為中華民族性情與修養的象征。中國的玉石養生歷史悠久,《神龍本草》、《本草綱目》中記載:玉石可“除中熱,解煩懣,助聲喉,滋毛髮,養五臟,安魂魄,疏血脈,明耳目”等諸多功效。Carved with Hetain fine pale green tone jade, Webp.net-gifmaker - 2020-07-15T082935.450the object is the form of single-tier cong. The main motif is a pair of the god of the earth which is located at the two angles with the nose at the angle line, the eyes are located at two contiguous planes. A carving style is a slant plane pertinent to the Western Zhou dynasty. The eye blows are decorated with multiple lines to enrich the beauty of God’s face.  This is one of the three congs with motifs of God’s face, dragon, and phoenix.  Antiquity evidence of this cong is diffusive marking and cleaving veins.

戰國玉琮,Warring States Jade Cong, H. 30.4cm

戰國祭司龍紋玉琮, 直徑 7.8cm, 高 30.4cm, 3.5kg。本器玉質為和田仔料青玉雕琢, 玉質晶瑩溫潤.下寬上窄, 如同寶塔. 全器佈滿各種祥瑞紋飾, 精美絕倫.玉琮上端四面各一祥龍, 張牙舞爪. 下端則各有一祭祀官, 神情嚴肅. 玉琮上方, 以兩邊銜接橫式的手法,描繪天上人間的歡樂, 可能是大動亂時代, 對歌舞昇平生活的嚮往, 本器呈透明黃綠色, 部分有水銀沁及石灰沁. 本玉琮玉質之美, 紋飾之華麗, 堪稱玉琮中最精美者。玉琮紋飾在良渚文化, 商周時期, 主要為神面, 而在春秋戰國之後, 龍鳳, 祭司及人物紋飾開始流行.

The jade carving of the Warring States(B.C.403-B.C.221) is of exquisite quality. With a streamlined design, most of the motifs are dragons, phoenixes, dancing ladies and crops to depict the theme of heavenly life. 良渚文化玉琮, Liangzhu Culture Jade Cong H.11.8cm, D.19cm, 11kgs

《周禮·春官·大宗伯》說,「以玉作六器,以禮天地四方,以蒼璧禮天,以黃琮禮地……」這句話表示玉琮是祭祀天地的禮器。玉琮外方內圓,是天圓地方的象徵。玉琮體中心上下穿透的圓孔,可能被視為通天地之通道。所以,玉琮與天地陰陽有關,因此古人對其崇拜至極。玉琮是良渚文化中最具特徵的玉器,不僅是形體最大的器件,也是出土較多的玉器品種。

良渚文化玉琮, H.11.8cm, E.D.19cm,  11kgs。本器大於中國浙江省1986出土餘杭縣長命鄉雉山村反山墓地出土浙江省文物考古研究所藏之琮王(H. 8.8cm, ED 17.6cm,  6.5kgs), 四個角落各有兩組神獸紋, 而各面中間則為兩幅神人騎獸紋. 各細線係由細斜線所組成. 神獸紋為淺浮雕. 本器差異風化及次生長結晶等古玉跡像明顯。

This cong is similar in design but bigger than the one( H. 8.8cm, E.D. 17.6cm, Weight 6.5kgs ) unearthed from Fan Shan Graveyard, Chih Shan Village, Chang Min Township, Yu Hang County, Zhejiang Province,1986. A collection of Archaeology Institute of Zhejiang Province. Antiquity evidence includes differential weathering, exposed crystal planes, and additive crystals.
