紅山文化玉器的形制甚為多樣化, 玉龍則為典型的造型, 而且被認為是後世玉器中龍圖騰起源的重要證據. 本器青玉雕琢, 嘴部向上微蹺, 眼部呈拉長水滴形, 上部雙線呈眼簾造型, 整體玉龍造型, 線條優美, 古玉跡象為增生晶體, 擴散暈沁色, 溶蝕孔.
Carved with green tone jade, the object has the typical Hongshan C-Dragon feature. With slightly upright mouth, the eyes have an elongated waiter drop shape with eyelash on top, the whole dragon has an elegant shape with nice carving. Antiquity evidence of differential weathering and exposed planes are obvious.
