With the design of the C-Dragon headstand, the artifact has an unpolished cuboid base which is unusual in Hongshan jades. The water drop shaped eyes are skillfully carved with low relief style. Three convex lines coupled with four concave lines are seen on the nose bridge. The head has a mane typical to Hongshan C-dragon.  With streamlines carving, it has also seen a trace of the ancient tool, differential weathering, and dissolved pits.
